Due to COVID-19 and the concern for the safety of our young skaters, all participants must observe the following.
1) Masks must be worn at all times while inside the building, including while on the ice.
2) All players must have their own water bottle and must be able to independently drink from the bottle without removing helmet.
3) Players must be able to understand the need for social distancing and be able to follow the directions of the coaches in regard to keeping a safe distance from other skaters.
The number of Learn to Skate participants will be limited and will be first come first serve. You will be allowed to register but may be put on a waiting list until there is an opening. You will be contacted with all the information you need about the program.
GCHA reserves the right to remove a skater from the ice if they feel these guidelines are not being met.
Please do not register your skater if they cannot or will not keep a mask on.

The Learn-to-Play Program is designed to teach basic skating and hockey skills to the beginning player. The program’s emphasis is on improving the children's skating skill as well as the basic skills of the game of hockey. Children will participate in skating, hockey drills and scrimmage games. The Learn-to-Play Program offers the beginning player an excellent, low stress, non-competitive introduction to the game of hockey. We have limited equipment for use with a refundable $50.00 deposit. Players will need to be registered with USA Hockey. There is no USA Registration fee for those born in 2014 or after. For those born prior to 2014 there is a fee.
